ANTIGUA

Hello everyone,
We came to Antigua on April 8th, English Harbour. As you'll see from the picture, Falmouth is located just slightly to the north. In fact these harbours are almost linked together. They are the scenes of two real famous regattas in late April, beginning of May. The first one is for classic boats, from the smallest to the amazingly large ones. By the way, Eric Clapton has his house close by!
Lately we've been travelling with the Norwegian boat, Babette. On board was the nice couple, Shannon and Ørnulf. You'll see them in pictures from Nelsons Dockyard in English Harbour. We might meet them again in the Azores.
Then we moved up to Jolly Harbour, the largest man-made marina in the Carribean. On the 13th of April we got company of my second cousin Mary Ellen and my second or third cousin once removed, namely Susan from California. ( as for the term "once removed", I can tell you that it's not so serious as it might sound). Anyway, she'll never be removed from me again!
These are the nicest girls one can imagine. Their oral abilities are unprecedented, and they have a great sense of humour! They left us after 4 short days, but I can assure it was pure "quality time".
Have a look at the pictures, they speak for themselves. There is however one picture of cranes in the sunset, and this one was taken in Point a Pitre in Guadeloupe.
